Our weekly jazz ensemble sessions are just the beginning of what we offer to help improve your jazz skills. In addition, we provide exclusive workshops and masterclasses with world-renowned jazz musicians.
National Centre For Early Music
We really value our partnership with NCEM, which allows us to offer even more to our members. NCEM hosts concerts by world-renowned jazz musicians, who often provide exclusive 2-hour workshops for our youth members. This is an incredible opportunity for our members to learn from some of the best around.
In recent years we've had the honour to learn from Byron Wallen, Trish Clowes, Zoe Rahman, Andrew McCormack, Alex Wilson Quartet and Andy Sheppard.
YMF Workshops
As well as the workshop and masterclass opportunities available through our partnership with NCEM we also have additional workshops. These includes our very popular 3 day Autumn Funky Workshop with trombone maestro Dennis Rollins MBE.
